Video: International Education & Training Summit 2017
After the resounding success of the International Education and Training Summit on the Gold Coast in 2017, the 2018 Summit will be held in Cairns on 15 May 2018.
This event of international significance and promises to be Queensland’s biggest annual gathering of the international education and training industry.
The IET Summit is a key component of the Queensland Government’s commitment to invest $25.3 million over the next five years to boost the sector through the implementation of the International Education and Training Strategy 2016 – 2026 to Advance Queensland.
“We have chosen Cairns as the site for the Queensland Government’s second annual International Education and Training Summit because of the city’s enthusiasm for welcoming international students,” Treasurer and Minister for Trade and Investment Curtis Pitt said.
Delegates at the 2017 Gold Coast Summit explored the theme of embracing disruption to support growth in the sector. The theme of the 2018 summit will be: Delivering on Diversity.
