Australian universities offer three main levels of education:
- Bachelors Degree: 3 years or 4 years with Honours
- Masters Degree: By research or coursework as a higher level of study for graduates
- PhD: A research higher degree program
International students can also study in Australia for one or two semesters (6-12 months), earning credits toward their degree at their home institution as part of a Study Abroad program Study can be a mixture of lectures, tutorials, seminars and practical work in libraries, laboratories or on field trips
