The Woolshed and Cotton Club

For the past 24 years, The Woolshed has become famous worldwide as a party Mecca for international travellers, students and locals alike! We're famous for our wild nights, live music and tabletop dancing!

In 2018, The Woolshed was awarded “Best Backpacker Party Night – Australia” in the Adventure Tourism awards and with a 7 day roster of dedicated party nights, 364 days a year, it’s easy to see why this venue is Cairns’ BEST nightspot!

The recently refurbished street level restaurant, The Cotton Club offers great vale meals and features an airconditioned al fresco area and sophisticated cocktail bar while the night club is upstairs overlooks the beautiful Fig Trees of City Place.

Located right in the heart of the City Place, The Woolshed is the heartbeat of the city where people meet to relax, eat and enjoy a drink. It is ultimately the loungeroom of the youth market.
We specialise in groups and parties with five distinctly different areas catering for groups from 8 to 500!
